Time to see what she'll do...
Just lightened (yeah, right) my Z71 by removing the tailgate, bed mat, rear seat, took a crap and peed. Time to dust off the antique Vericom (accurate within a minute) and lay down some asphalt melting numbers. If I don't black out from the g-forces, I'll return and probably get #1 on the fastest truck list. Then I wake up...... :drive:

lemme know how takin that crap worked out for ya... i've been meaning to do that mod myself.

'87-Do you have a VC-2000? I have had mine for years and I take it to the track periodically just to make sure it hasn't lost its calibration, but mine is always right on with the timeslip once you allow for rollout. Sorry to highjack ur thread.

Mine says VC-200, maybe an older model-not sure. I've had mine for 11 years. Bought it from Gene Deputy @ Texas Turbo for $200. Never checked the accuracy, but figured it was good for tuning gains. I need to break down and get a Gtech but hate to un-ass the $250.

i will have to get my G-tech out and do some runs on it. haven't used it in a while. i was planning on doing some weight reduction as well. don't forget to remove the spare tire. only takes a minute |
