Default throttle body question

well i decided to go with the 212/218 thunderacing comp cam. however i checked out people using this cam (f-bodies) and some said that they had to drill the throttle body blades. ok what do they mean by that? what does it do? i plan on getting the 80mm throttle body, so i can get a little more air. would i need to drill that?

It's drilling the TB hole larger in diameter than it already is. This is the hole in the blade thats already there. The most you'll probably need would be a 17/64" hole. The hole is a metered vacuum leak, and it helps keep the IAC Motor in its best position to control the idle under all circumstances, such as when the AC is on in gear and cold starts. When you swap cams you need to supplement the IAC Motor so that it can do its job, thats why the blade will need to be drilled.
