Here are a couple of pics it baffles me how it can make a truck so quiet inside while cruising and well its obvious why its so loud at WOT. I was putting my corsa sport on tonight and I remember a few posting about what the inside of a corsa looks like so here you go
I put a flashlight at the end so you can see better in the muffler and the pics are from oppostire ends.

yea its straight thru. its amazing how that thing is not killer loud

 

You know they have some crazy baffles and passages inside... Mine is like a diesel muffler... it is straight through, but huge!

 

Well that right there tells me that you have never heard a corsa sport in person before. They ARE loud. They have alot of baffles inside but when you step on it alot of the gases bypass the baffles and go straight through thus its loud when you step on it and quiet when you are cruising.

 

i meant on the inside. i know they are crazy loud on the outside.

 

Oh well when you are cruising alot less air is moving through it so it isnt mving as fast through there and more can go into the baffles to make it quiet is how I think it works. Its well worth it though for the quiet operation while cruising if I want to rattle my brains out of my skull then I can just open the cutouts

 

try putting longtubes without cats on that muffler....its an obnoxious loud it sounded awesome if i was going for that dragster sound my buddy heard me step into it from a mile away. he said it wasnt a faint sound at tht distance either, he knew it was me for sure

since then i added a resinator, but want to add a e-cutout for whenever i feel like scaring people

 

the "thing" about corsa is that they have baffles that bounce back sound frequencies. they cancle the sound and so thats why its quiet. It produces almost no restriction.

I saw a whole bunch of cut-aways of corsa exhuasts at my interview. got the job too.
