I gap mine at .052-.053 just as a precaution for the n2o. Otherwise I would do as all the others have said and leave them at .055. Yes, I have had a few tips get loose before so I make sure I snug them down now as I regap them.

Do you even have the instrumentation to change the gap from .053 to .055? When I was on the bottle I gapped my plugs at about .035......is that what you mean?

not sure about performance gains but it sounds cool when you tell someone that you have NGK TR55's haha. non of my friends know what im talkin bout..

Although they are not precision instruments, I do have the means to decrease the gap on my plugs .002-.003 of an inch. I would never gap a 55 to .035. TR6 is a different story though. I run my truck n/a 98% of the time and it does fine the other 2% I spray it with the 55s so I see no need to go to TR6s.
