Thinking about larger cam, pros/cons?

You'll see a decent gain in going to that cam. There may be some better choices, but hard to beat that price.

my truck ran pretty good with a 228/588/112 cam with a 3k stall but i like my 226/570/114 better. feels faster up top

I was debating the same thing the other day, my biggest thing is once it hits 3rd it falls off bad. But with you having that big of a stall you could run as big as you wanted really but what are you wanting to shift at? That is my biggest concern about going bigger is more rpm on stock bottom end cause I shift at 66 or 6800 at the track with my 221.

I shift at either 6200 or 6400 (w/ tow haul on).

I would also look at increasing the size of your injectors if you are going to go bigger. You may run out of injector.

I already am out of injector (105% at WOT)

I need some 8.1L or 8.1L marine injectors

I went with the marine's myself, I didn't really see a need to get them over the standard truck 8.1s (31lb/hr) but I couldn't find any of the standard 8.1s for sale. BlownChevy hooked me up with a new set for 230.

I vote for a 110 LSA. bring the power in sooner .
