thermostat bb mod? how does it go again?

Default thermostat bb mod? how does it go again?

hey guys, i got a spare thermostat, and was just thinking of tring out that bb mod just for fun.. how does it go again? and how much cooler do you think it will be? comparable to a 160?

Take apart the tstat and on the base part put a bb in the little crevice. You will know when you see it, the bb will just drop right in.
I think that makes it a 180 tstat? Not sure exactly.

If you don't feel comfortable doing it, I have seen then as cheap as $20 on ebey.

i currently have a 160 installed, but my 6.0 came with a stocker. so i was just curious about the mod. any one need a stock thermostat with 10,000 miles on it? Thanks guys!

My 03 tstat is a different internal config, but look physically the same on the outside. The 04s are completely different.
