Tech II Readings

i just made a few runs down an empty 1 mile stretch to see what kind of readings i had. there's something that i noticed that's a little confusing. when i launched without stalling i had no knock retard-great! but, when i launched and stalled up to 1500 RPM's, i had 7* KR down to 4*,3*,2*, and 1* through out the first 8 seconds. my O2's were around 855mV for the most part, my spark timing was 29*-31* while i had KR. any ideas? i am running a de-screened MAF, could this be it? i don't know what my AF was, i guess if i knew what that was i would have a better idea of what's going on. one other thing i noticed was that i get a lot of KR while cruising, i saw 7* KR quite often. any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Re: Tech II Readings

I don't know what caused your knock from what you described. I get different results every time I run my truck. But hitting 7*, then 4 and 3 and 2 - that is normal. Your PCM will register the knock and pull timing. Then it slowly gives back the timing and listens for the knock to return.
