Is the tbss intake manifold the same as gen 4 intake manifolds?

Default Is the tbss intake manifold the same as gen 4 intake manifolds?

just what the title is asking. Are gen 4 intake manifolds off of 4.8-6.0 with the bigger snout the same as a tbss intake manifold?

Yes. The TBSS and NBSS intakes are basically exactly the same.

The 4.8 & 5.3 stayed with the cathederal port. However the 6.0L and 6.2 went to rectangle port and cannot be used on a cathederal port head without adapters plates.

Not much of a performance gain to be had putting a stock rectangle port intake with adapters on a cathedral port head. Better off finding the intake for the proper head

There is one exception, when putting the LSA blower on one. But I was more pointing out the severe port mismatch.
