Default TBI 350 Mods?

well i just got me a new daily, its a 92 chevy 350. I was wondering what all is there out there that i can do to this motor to make it have some power? I was reading up somewhere and some guy dynoed his and it made like 127 rwhp stock. As of right now all i know mine has is a cam, chip, and K&N filter with some 3.73's. Its pretty peppy for this year truck i would guess... but its burning a little oil and ive got a spare motor id like to build on the side so when this motors wore out i can drop the new one in. Didnt know if there was something like a H/C/I and stuff i can do to make it really run.

Any suggestions? Im kinda wanting around 400 horse to the wheels? if possible?

thanks
justin

yeah i know thats right... I was actually looking at the edelbrock heads... pretty puch there performer package they have. With some good compression and that package, and maybe a little better TB than stock and a good tune should be some decent numbers?

The factory throttle body flows something like 400cfm. It is a choker. You can get a 454 throttle body that flows ~600cfm or get a ported one. You can use a 4 barrel intake and an adapter plate. Those old slow computers are tempermental about doing too many mods such as a large cam. You have to stay concervative. Check with this guy. He has a lot of good info as far as combos to run on his site.www.tbichips.com

I probably have everything you need for about 300-340 hp. The kid ran my truck with no oil pressure, now its knocking. I am going back stock. The engine is still in the truck. If you are interested in the items, pm me.
