Would it be the tcc solenoid? or no?

Quite possibly the stator clutch inside the TC ... if thats the case youre better off replacing it. You might want to see if you can get a junkyard find so you can stay cheap.

Taking it to a trans shop in about an hour to have them scan to see if the tcc is working properly...

Well, we drove all the way to Princeton and back… and of course…the truck didn’t act up (b/c it didn’t get hot enough). That said, we had a scanner hooked up to it the whole time… and it registered as everything was ok.

So the good news is… everything is working properly…while cold.

Long story short, he explained to me why I might be having an issue when the transmission is hot and so forth. We have basically narrowed it down to 2 possible issues.

1. TCC solenoid / harness. (which everyone thought it might be that…) have a trick to try this evening to see if its this or not…

2. A piece of debris around the boost valve/pump…

Basically, when my sprag went bad… debris went everywhere. Dealer more than likely didn’t clean it all up. (go figure).

Soooo…. Guess what?!

Converter is bad. (There's converter material in the pan)
Stator…is chewed up…
Needs a new front pump...

OR… I can have it fully rebuilt

So much for the easy fix...
