Ryan23silverado : you are right, if he is running the vette acc. package then there will be a clearance issue. I am sure he is running the truck acc. though.

I have seen the Vortech intercooled kit and it LOOKS nice. The Vortech will give you nice PEAK horsepower, the Radix will give you more power through the curve.

You should also consider Powerdyne. No plumbing require because it is belt to belt. No lubrication required for cooling bearings so no oil lines are needed.

except for the crappy plumbing, i am very happy with my procharger. same idea as the vortech. air/air intercooling which is supposed to be more efficient than water/air. it will make wicked power up top for sure. i got 380+ RWHP out of a stock 4.8 with my procharger and some tuning! i would probably have the radix if it could keep up with my new motor though. it is an absolutely beautiful kit. cram on! you will enjoy either one, you just need to think about what you want it for and how you are going to use it and if you plan on radical upgrades to the motor in the future. their power curves are totally different.

Procharger all the way

You wont be dissapointed, as long as you do it the right way and get some injectors and a custom tune
