Which supercharger kit for a 5.3 tahoe...besides the Radix?
I just dont want to spend that much money on my truck. If its hands down no comparison i would consider the Radix kit for my truck. Thanks

I think Kenne Bell makes a nice kit for under $4000. But, I think almost everyone agrees that the radix is the top-dog right now. I'm curious to see what the Whipple/Intercooler kit is going to be like in a few months.

Go for a Procharger and a Yank 3000rpm stall. That'd make a nice combo for sure.

if you get the Kenne Bell expect to be down installing it for about a week. they make you send them your ECM for them to program it then they send it back. Unleess you have a duplicate ECM your truck is parked for at least a week. thats on top of their crappy customer service. I was considering one before I got my RADIX , when I finally got through it was like they were doing me a really big favor answering my questions about the system, thats where I found out that You need to send them you ECM (shipping is also additional to the S/C kit cost. my .02

Here are some types and general price ranges for you:
Whipple ~$4k Procharger ~4.5k Powerdyne ~3.2k Vortech ~3.5k KenneBell ~4.5k Magnacharger ~$4k Magnacharger ~$5k (Radix style) Arizona Speed & Marine has some with good pricing, Tbyrne also has just about all of them to choose from. |

After seeing both the Radix and the Whipple kits, and driving both............I would get the Radix, hands down the best kit on the market today.
