SS Trailblazer cam and intake on my Max

My buddy did a cam swap, heads, and supercharger on his Trailblazer SS and gave me the stock intake with injectors and cam for my truck. What kind of gains could I see with this setup? Is it worth doing?

no gains what so ever. sell the stuff and buy a performance cam.

I dont think youll see much either, a few from the intake, the injectors go with the intake and are most liekly 34lb/hr and most Silverados come with 19lb/hr which will require someone to change some stuff in your tune to make them work correctly.

Did you get the fuel rails too?

The cam isnt worth the swap most likely. What are the numbers on the back of the cam? If your going to do a cam, get a real aftermarket cam, this doesnt mean it has to be large.

Thanks for the help guys. I will probably go with an aftermarket cam here in the future. The intake does have the fuel rails and injectors in it. What size cam do you recomend for a daily driver? All I have done to it is a custom tune.

Why don't you tell us a bit more about the truck?

TBSS cam is a 204/211 .520lift 116LSA basically the 01 z06 cam
What year is your truck?must be 08 and up for that cam to work because of the location of the cam sensor being in the front cover, unless you do some swappin

It will give gains in a truck and yes you will notice a difference.
People put z06 cams in trucks most use the 02 and newer that has more lift in turbo applications with good results

There are much better cams out there but if its free and works go for it!
The intake manifold will work but you need a adapter box to run the 90mm DBW throttle body

The TBSS heads are 243 or 799 castings they are a better flowing stock head. 08 and newer 4.8 and 5.3s came with these stock.
These heads work on 03-07 trucks but you got to mill them down to get the compression back, bigger combustion chambers
