Default Spark plug wire question(last one)

I know this topic has been brought up again and again. One simple question...the less resistance in the wire the better right? Is it better to go with say MSD with 50ohms resistance or Taylors with more resistance? If low is good, why dosen't every manufacture try to go down to 50ohms or less. I know everyone has a perferance of brands. Choice...same price...MSD or Taylor.
Thanks

I wasn't happy with the MSDs because they were 2 inches longer and they rubbed on everything. Also the boots were an inch longer so they touched the ASMs and one of them melted a hole in it. I now went to a Borgwarner 7.5 mm set (one wire was defective so I have one MSD still hooked up) and the performance is the same. I have heard of Fbod guys in the 10s with stock wires and parish was in 11 on stock wires. They do look pimp though and they're only 60 bucks so it's not like a waste of money. The POS Borgwarners were 70 but I couldn't wait a week to order some off the net.

I think one of the reasons stock wires have a higher resistance is noise suppression. They want to keep electrical noise away as much as possible.
I have used aftermarket wires that show no noise differance and some that have a noticable buzz on the radio.
