single turbo vs twins

Hey guys I'm sure this Topic has been brought up before but me and the search engine don't get a lot so I can't fund much on it I have a 07classic 5.3 I am looking to buy a set of afr heads I'm trying to study up on cams and turbos to find out what I need to run in that department what kinda build sheet would y'all recommend to a guy wanting to make 1,000 horsepower?

Your goal will be easier with twins but will cost more..make sure you have the intake, heads and exhaust to support 1000hp

Im not much on turbos, but i believe precison makes a nice product

1000hp on your factory 5.3 or more cubes? Rwhp or crank? With the 5.3 it can be done. I believe your genIV motor is a little better preped to get there (better rods, heads, intake, etc).
In theory a good boost cam such as a JFR isky 119 or TU1 and a proper turbo setup with 25 lbs you might get there. There is a ton more to it than that though.

My problem is in coming over from the diesel world and gas is much different then diesel if this was a diesel I would no what it takes with a gas motor there is so many variations such as cam heads intake injectors I do not no what combo to throw ttogether to get me there

Going to be very hard to simply throw together. Transmission, rear end, and fuel setup will be the toughest part.
Build a forged 370 good heads custom cam and a good turbo setup with lots of boost and you are there.
