Should I remove my factory fan?
 

I’m installing two 12 inch fans for my 1999 Ford Expedition. The fans move 1765 CFMs each

removing the fan will lighten the load on the motor a bit, which will help everything. However you need to have an auto fan controller or some way to control them so that they turn off at speed, come on with the AC, come on with temp, etc. I wouldnt remove the factory fan/shroud combo until you have some kind of fan control in there to save the motor in traffic.

Because he doesnt know how to forum, innocent mistake really. Plus this section gets 98% of site traffic, so his question was likely to get more answers here anyway.
