Shorty's or long tube headers

Hello.Started a '02 4.8l gmc project with 1900TVS supercharger, but have no idea with what type of headers to use. What is best for this application(supercharged). Shorty headers or long tube headers? And what size should the diameter of the headers tube be?

long tube, 1 3/4 or bigger primaries

Shorty headers would just be a waste of money.

It's very dependent on boost. If you go beyond the stock pulley then the bigger the better. 1 7/8"

definitely long tubes

Just bought TSP's LTs for my 2007 (non classic) 4wd. Fit was great and price was awesome (think they were on sale for like $350) and they are stainless...

Is anyone else running the Texas Speed headers? I'm wondering how they hold up after a few months. Any blueing or corrosion issues?

They will start too blue like any stainless headers. I have a very similar set that have started to blue, but have held up amazing. Long tubes are the only way to go.

I have TSP's here. They do blue, but I personally like the look. They fit great, sounds good, and the price is tough to beat.
