Running lean giving codes help is appreciated
My 2000 GMC 2500 is saying running lean on bank 1 and 2 and the other day it was acting like it wanted to stall and just kind of died so I had to start it again in the middle of the road, Its also giving me the knock sensor low input circuit bank 2 code I cleared it a few times it will stay off for a bit then come back any ideas? Im thinking the wiring connector to the knock sensor and maybe a shitty fuel pump any ideas?

Really need more info. is this a new body style 2000 or a carry over?
Did you check Fuel pressure?
When is the last time the fuel filter was replaced?
Has the intake ever been off?
Knock sensor is a common issue on the early LS engines. Running lean could be a few things. Could be a fuel delivery issue as well as un-metered air issue. There is a few places to look for broken connections on these trucks.
The early intake gaskets flatten out and stop sealing over time. The revised ones hold the ethanol content better and stay more pliable.
And stop clearing the codes!!! That does nothing to fix the issue nor does it help any one diagnose the actual issue. If anything post all the codes you get.

Check all the basics.
Vacuum leak, low fuel pressure, broken exhaust bolts on the manifolds pre o2 sensor. All those can cause lean codes.
The knock sensor code should be addressed, that itself will cause the truck to pull maximum timing at any sign of knock and surely reduce the power of the engine.

Its a 2000 NBS with the 6.0 Lq4 im going to check a few things with it as when I bought it has not been started in 4 years, I will put a fuel filter on it change the knock sensor and the connector and I might as well change the pump before I upgrade the engine later and see what happens

Ive had it for 2 weeks or so but not driven it much its been sitting for 4 years before I bought it, Oil was as black as tar when I got it, The only code coming on at the moment is p0171
