Roll Cage
Sooo :/ I hate to say it but my buddy flipped his trans am this sunday and passed away wed, He would've survived if he had a roll cage, the roof collapsed in smashing his head, got a concussion, was declared brain dead, coma, and the family decided to pull the plug.
So my question is, where can i find a roll cage for my truck its a 2000 RCSB silverado 2wd, and how much should they be? i don't want anything to crazy as this is my daily driver thanks guys -Rip Zach- |
Sorry about your friend.

Best way is custom. $850+ for an 8pt roll bar, usually $2,000+ for a 10pt or 12pt cage, those are the estimates I've gotten.

Thanks alot guys appreciate it

Umm wow, sorry to hear about your friend.
If your near the Houston are give Baytown Racecars a call. They just did the cage in Casey's truck and I went over there to check it out and it was very nicely done. They could probably do you a hoop and door bars for a pretty good deal. Unless your looking to go fast the dragstrip and be legal I would'nt bother with the rear bars out the back. |
sorry to hear about your friend. happy to hear you want to throw some safety into your truck. i would check around at your local fab shops. anything that does any sort of off road fabrication (granted they are a reputable shop) can also help you with a simple rear cab hoop with a few door bars.

I live in texas and i wouldn't mind driving to get it done in the future |

Do a search, his name is casey and he has a thread in the projects section with pics. Its a 7.50 cert. so I doubt you'll want that, but it is a good example of their work.
