i heard afther every mod they say to reset the ecm i heard of this on the camaros but wonder about the trucks any one got a clue about what im talking about

the only thing resetting the pcm would do is reset your ltft's & clear your transmission adapts & basically go back to factory preset settings so the pcm can relearn everything again. I am not sure who told you that but your pcm has set limits on values it will try to achieve. So regardless if you reset your pcm or not the pcm will still make adjustments to attempt to get those values within the specified range.

so in a nutshell whoever told you that probably does not have a good grasp or understanding of pcm operation.

you go to school in austin or just living there. I graduated from UT last year and miss the place.

If you want to reset the PCM. Flip the key to the run position, go under the hood and yank the ECM-B and ECM-I fuses. Reinsert them and you will hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds. Turn the key back to off and start the truck.
