RADIX on the way - need some info

Heres what I've done so far:
yank 3000
volant
lt headers, high flow cats + magnaflow muffler
nelson 93 tune

1. What do I need to help save my 4l60e for a while? Transgo will be put in, but what about all the corvette and billet servos and stuff? Do I need them w/the shift kit? How many washers should I put in if I have the stall for a 'easy part throttle shift and firm but not jerking WOT shift"? I will probably not have much traction with these tires and don't want to end up sideways at the 1-2 shift. Slicks or dr's will only be used at the track or on weekends.

2. I have a trans cooler in the place they recommend putting the heat exchanger for the blower...whats the best place/way to mount the exchanger with the trans cooler? Down behind the bumper/valence opening?

3. I'm looking into an Eaton posi to be put in when I get the shift kit. Is it a 10 bolt 30 spline I'm looking for? What else is needed for a shop to put this in? Do I need different gears or should I use my 3.73?

4. I know allen can get me a better tune that the included superchips tune, so what should I have the tune set for as far as shifting, TM etc with the shift kit(s)?

5. What kind of coolant for the Radix? the green stuff?

thats it for now, i'm sure there will be more later on after I install the kit

:)

Sounds to me like you've got it just about all figured out. I was wondering if you had ever ran your truck at the track the way it is now and if so what kind of ET's you were running??? Sounds to me like your on your way to having one fast truck. I like the fact that you already have the converter and longtubes, added with that blower you should really kick some butt!

last year with the stall, exhaust, upd + predator programming it ran high 14's - with no traction (20's+small tires+stall+slippery track) - I really couldn't floor it until about 20 mph or I would just spin, after trying alot of different methods (desperately roasted the gtII's and it actually helped a little, put the spare back in the bed for better launch), but just couldn't get the enough traction to lower the ET

Now with the nelson tune and traction I would bet on mid to low 14's, and if I hit mid 13s with the blower I'll be happy. Low 13's - really happy

I found the answer to #3 - I need a 10bolt 8.5 with 30 spline. But if I'm getting this installed at a shop, should I also buy the install kit?

Click on the link in my sig. the perfect spot for the heat exchanger. that center opening (cover) is just cliped in, so no cutting required.
