Default Radix/Eaton Q?

"If not, why not? The drag boat crowd who prefers the Roots style over the Whipple style for out of the hole performance, would not think of a Roots without Teflon tipped rotors. They port them and cool them like we do but Teflon tip them so they do not leak back heat and not drop off at the higher RPMs."

I beleive the entire rotors are coated on an Eaton superchager not just the tips.I know that my Magnacharger seemed to get quieter after a couple thousand miles,I attributed that to the proper clearences waring in to the coating on the rotors.Maybe Blownchevy can shed some light on the subject.

I wasn't talking about the coating on the rotors, but an actual teflon tip.

I don't think there is a Teflon tip on the rotors, just the coating.

I think the coating on the RADIX achieves the same thing as the teflon tip, the way you're saying it anyways.

On top fuel boats/cars, I believe they change the tips periodically. The teflon tip performs better, but it would be a pita to change them on your radix all the time.

It is a teflon tube that slides into the grooved tips of the rotors. I'd put a twin screw on my boat
