Why not just put the hose over it and use a hose clamp? the factory QC broke years ago and i had to do that on a quick fix. its still working 8 years later

I got two black one's from napa and put the first one on and it was tight also and I greased it. So it went on and I thought i'd give it a pull to make sure it locked and the thing pulled right apart. so I took them back and ordered two from the dealer. Got the bill two days later with another part and saw the price of the white one. So I order anther black one and i'm sending the white one back.

Yeah you have to really push them on there until you feel it go into place

It was locked on . The connector actually came apart. the locking part was still on the tube when I pulled on it and I didnt pull that hard.
