question on the oxygen sensors

does anyone now if the 2005 silverado came with heated 02 sensors or are all the 4 the same standard sensors.... so does it matter? since i put my truck back to stock and don't have the o2 sensors... I just want to know Which are the correct 02 sensors to put on? if someone can chime in id appreciate it

Not positive about 05; but my 04 are all 4 heated, and they're all heated in 06 as well. Pretty sure 05 is the same. Kind of a no-brainer to just look at em and tell though.

1-wire = non-heated

Multi-wire = heated

Ah ok thanks for the info!

I would suspect most, if not all, OBD2 vehicles to use heated O2 sensors.

I got confused .. cause there were so many options on the o2 sensors some didnt say whether it was heated or not thats why i asked

just make sure you're getting the right plugs (square vs flat). not positive on 05, but i believe there are 2 of each...

In both 04 & 06, they're all 4 square, and I'm pretty sure the same part #... instinct tells me 05 should be square as well...

My 6L, 5.3L, and 4.8L trucks all have different plugs. the 6L ones are a triangle kinda shape, and the other two trucks have square plugs, but the key way is different between them. one connector is a white one (4.8L truck) and the 5.3L truck has a black connector.

easiest way to tell for sure... crawl under your truck & look at the harness.

All should be heated. Or are u confusing narrowband with wideband?
