po171/po174 codes

anyone have any ideas what can cause these 2 codes? Ive put up with them for well over 6months and they wont go away. I clear them and within the same day they are back, sometimes 2 days they both pop back on. Ive checked over and over again for vaccum leaks, ive replaced the intake gaskets, and replaced the front 02 sensors. Nothing has fixed it. Sometimes when leaving from dead stop or a slight roll at part throttle the truck sputters and just seems like its not getting fuel or getting to much fuel. Ive run gas cleaner to make sur eits no water in the tank also. Im wondering if my injectors, fuel pump, or MAF is going bad. It does this issue just enough to annoy me into the selling the truck. But I can sell the truck like that. Ive also checked for burnt 02 wires with no luck...

Truck has the Volant intake, 220/220 cam, 3000 stall, ASM headers, and all the little bolt ons you can do.

Could be a bad signal from the MAF, maybe try cleaning it with some electric contact cleaner

im gonna try that and see... worse case is it doesnt work lol

I had the scanner hooked up today and the truck was showing where it wouldnt go into closed loop. It wanted to stay in open loop. This happened after going WOT to test everything. Needless to say, it doesnt run worth a damn in open since its running off the PCM and doesnt know what to add or do. I was told that both 02's could be bad also because of this. I would hate to spend 200bucks on 02's again and that not be the issue.

im just wondering if maybe oil from the volant may have gotten on the MAF causing issues

I pulled the whole intake off and have the stocker ready to go back. Just to rule out any vaccum leaks on the intake anywhere. But when i took the filter off, I noticed the black plastic peice of the volant that bolts to the MAF was greasy, so i know its some on the MAF. Also, I took my finger and lightly rubbed the screen filter before the MAF and Black stuff was coming off. Im going to borrow a friends MAF to try shortly.. If it works, ill clean mine and go from there.

hopefully thats the issue... I put new 02's in and the truck still doesnt seem to have the power it should. So those werent the problem
