Are you talking about the metal pieces that screw onto your plugs that are supposed to shield them from oil/etc in the combustion chamber?

I used them on some long tubes I put on a '93 for the bung for the o2 sensor since it had a 383 tune port motor swap in it and the long tubes did not have one, worked great.

Thats them in the picture that SSLOW put up. They are like 2.50 a pack and work great.Get 2 packs. When you do it you have to drill a 1/2 inch hole in 2 of them. I used a lathe but if you don't have one a drill will work. Put the undrilled one in first then the drilled one on top then the o2 sensor.Get the 42002 not the 420009 the 42002 are shorter and you need them cause they just fit betwwen the y and the frame rail.Thats it, hope thats clear for you folks

This trick will work reliably, its been used for years, especially by the WRX guys who use it to trick thier horrid factory emissions system.

They make it so you don't need to get o2 sims, a custom tune to have the rear ones turned off. Once I get the tune They will be gone, but for now they will save ya 90 bucks
