the 5.3 shows a 1.325 CD anda 0.9451 pin diameter

both with 2-1.50mm ring grooves and one 3.00mm ring groove

so how much work would it be to swap these out? could you use stock 5.3 rods?
I was thinking about swapping my 5.3 pistons for the 4.8 flat tops pistons last year. I still want to do this swap when I have nothing better to do and the money to waste on it

I don't know about that. Guys at GM have told me that it should be possible but the thing is you have to be really bored and have some money to waste to do it
