oil on spark plug threads
#1
truck has been hesitating and have a slight miss while driving. pullled the spark plugs and noticed they had oil on the threads?? Once when i pulled my intake manifold off it was full of oil. could this be the problem? also sometimes at first start it blows out white smoke which im assuming is associated with the prob as well.

The oil in the intake is from the PCV system, the GENIII engines suck a lot of oil through the PCV into the intake. An oil catch can in line with the PCV hose will help prevent that. I doubt that this is causing your misfire though.
White smoke is an indication of coolant, oil burns blue...if you're getting white smoke on start up, it could be from a leaking head gasket or cracked head, or if it's just a little puff, it may be normal condensation in the exhaust.
Your miss/hesitation could be caused by a number of things, fouled plugs, bad wires, clogged injectors, partially clogged fuel filter, dirty MAF, engine mechanical problems, engine control issues, etc. Start with the basics, fuel, spark and compression, and go from there. Check for any codes stored in the PCM...is the check engine light on?
