I really hope you can help me out. I have a 2000 sierra with the 5.3 and a 4l60e. I'm wanting to do the 6.0 swap and I need to no what I'll need. I no i can use the stock tranny and motor mounts as well as wiring harness, but im not sure about the ecu and stuff??? If you know anything about swapin out the 5.3 for the 6.0 please give me the run down i would gladly appreciate it thanks. If i do the swap i wana leave the engine stock other than a edge programer or something my trans has been rebuilt with heavy duty 1st and reverse do you think it would hold up??

Your going to need a retune to a 6liter tune, and ditch the edge, contact wheatley have him get you a good tune. All accessories will work, and the trans will hold up if you dont beat the **** out of it.

Mine took no modification, since the 4.3 was returnless.
