This is the best run after the CustomOS & SD Tune in November. 5.3, 3.23's, LT's, CAI, catless true dual...throttle body spacer :jest:

This one is from the same day same mods with a hundred shot of nitrous
http://www.geocities.com/dozerdan132/Truck/n2odyno.jpg
This is with same mods as above, minus the nitrous and plus a 216/224 .551 115LSA , LS6 springs, hardened p.r. and retuned

I see a 76.2HP gain over just the tune...Same truck, same dyno. What do you guys think?

Here is a video clip of the 311HP run...you may have right click and then click save target as to view

I think 300+ rwhp is very good!
Have you considered a gear change yet?

I guess he's waiting on the gears. He has the 4.10's posted in the bottom of his SIG as, "to be installed".

Nice numbers Dozer! That cam sure did wake that engine up! :judge:
Did you get any dyno numbers with the cam, tune, and NO2? I would like to see those.

Yeah my fiance bought me some 4.10's for christmas but she bought them too small(7.5's, need 8.5's or something like that, I've already forgot). No biggie though just send them back and get the right ones. Atleast she tried. I'm going to get a different LSD too. I just don't trust the ol g80. I'm also comptimplating doing a TC swap before the gears...What do you all think about that?

trever1t 01-02-2007 09:34 PM

If you're going to swap gears than definately do the LSD swap at that time. A 2800/3000 rpm stalled TC would go with the cam nicely.

No my bottle was empty. I'm not going to spray again til after the shiftkit. I shoulda got it filled and made a run just to see how that cam does with nitrous. Gained 91hp on a 100shot with the stock cam

dirt track racer 81 01-02-2007 09:34 PM
