Don't know about the NX kit. TNT is a sponsor here, and you can get a NOS brand at MTI or some of our other sponsors. I would run NGK TR6's with a .040 gap. Thaey are a little cooler than TR55's

Run atleast 1 heat range cooler, NO platnum tips! and get a NX Express wet kit. You can spray 100hp all day long and 150hp when you need to IF its setup properly. I would install a fuel pressure safety switch inline also incase the pump craps out. Also you will need to pull out any timing advancements you have made. I used the NX kit and a NOS dry kit on a 99 Formula 6spd, 12.0s@117 on NOS kit, 11.50s@122mph with the NX wet, that kit hits real hard. Better get some ET Streets!

I use the N.O.S. kit on my truck and i've had only two trucks beat me so far. One being a 93 Lightning, with a built motor, powerdyne blower and a 100 shot of Nx. 01 Lightning with all the bolt ons and 16 pounds of boost. All kits hit the same some just run alittle leaner than others, and some are safer. Don't be scared to run a 150. I've got friends spraying 200 on stock Navigators running 13.80's on all stock motors except exhaust.

I run the TNT kit on my rig and spray a 125 shot but will up it to a 150 soon. When I run a 12 or higher shot I use NGK racing plugs.. Part number BP7EFS , gaped at .030..

I prefer the TNT over the NX kit, because I feel thier duel nozzel system atomizes the mixture far better..Besides 13.50`s arn`t to bad from a 6200 lb crew cab 4x4 on all terrian tires..Hehe <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

hyde,
Does the NOS kit use a spacer plate or what?
Wet or dry? I bought a NOS kit for a f-body for $400 new and was going to convert it to a wet shot for my 5.3.

Re: NOS!!!!!

Truck, if you bought a DRY kit for a F body, you will need to buy some more parts. First the 2 "nozzles" that dry fog the air box on a F body will not work as a wet kit. You will have to buy a wet kit nozzle. Like the "hawk" nozzle or something. NX has better nozzles. Then you are going to need a fuel solinoid and all the plumbing hardware to run the fuel supply. If you bought a WET kit for a F body then it will be a direct install. The only difference will be where you place the nozzle in the intake tube. Stick with the wet kit if you want it to live a while and make more power. I screwed up a LS1 Formula from spraying too many bottles through it with the dry kit. It was only a 100hp kit with a 20lb bottle. I filled it up MANY times. It would gain the car 9-10 mph and drop off 9 tenths.
