Ever since I swapped in the 6.0 liter my starter makes a grinding noise right after the engine starts as it disengages. I pulled it loose a couple of times and re-installed it and no change. I've just been dealing with it but I know its not good plus it sounds like crap. Do you have to shim these starters sometimes??? If so, where do you get the shims??
