Default Nitrous Question?

Where and what kind of Wide Open Throttle Switch Do I need??

I have a Nitrous Works Wet Kit.... and my truck is a 2003 5.3

I was wondering where you can get them for under 30 bucks.... at the most 50...

Does anyone know where to get these??

Negative on the button.

I believe you can pickup a microswitch at radio shack.

If you really want a reliable and safe means of actiavtion get the NX TPS switch. I think they are around $75 new but DynoTune(sponser) also has come out with a TPS switch for cheaper and they make some good stuff! The only reason I like TPS better because it reads of volts not where your pedal is!

that is a big negative on the wot switch! I prefer a button for a number of reasons:

if you buy a wot throttle switch, you will need to buy a window switch as well. If you intend to spray a decent amount of gas you will just spin off the line.

There is nothing better than having this nos phone cord button in your hand & playing with someone on interstate, spray when you need it!

you will find that every single type of roadway surface has a different friction type, the desired rpm to come on will forever change(so theres the window switch)

very basic & simple to install.

if you are that concerned though you could have the tps switch be your arming device & a button to activate it. For what you spend on all the extra nitrous controls you could buy some extra truck goodies.

...one more thing, with all the fancy nos controls in the world, window switch, tps, fuel deactivation, afr monitor, you will still be slower than the guy like me who has his ols school set-up spraying through the shifts. With what tigerfan187 spenton the goodies he could have bought his on programming software, & a locker......& maybe his ls1 nitrous injected truck might be able to catch me at the track...
