Dude, i cant believe noone has suggested this to you yet.... Get a cutout!!!

You can still run your stock exhaust so you parents wont know but when you get away from home, you can open that bitch up and let it sound like a beast! Put it right after the flange on the exhaust after the y-pipe. Get an electric one if you can afford it. If not, the manual will be fine. I think you will have fun with that!

Thats actually a good idea. You could run headers with the stock muffler and have minimal sound difference. Then open it up with a cutout.
