Default New LS Goodies from Summit Racing

Hey Folks,

We wanted to let you all know about some new goodies we've recently released.

Summit Racing Billet LS Rear Main Seal Housings

A billet rear main seal housing on an LS provides:

1. Increased Strength: Billet is more durable and resists warping, which is ideal for high-RPM or high-power setups.
2. Better Sealing: Tighter machining tolerances reduce the risk of oil leaks, especially in boosted or high-performance engines.
3. Improved Heat Dissipation: Billet aluminum dissipates heat better, extending the life of the seal and housing.

While the stock housing is fine for most builds, a billet housing is a worthwhile upgrade for engines under heavy stress.

Summit Racing Billet LS Rocker Stands

A billet rocker stand on an LS engine offers:

1. Increased Strength: Billet is stronger and more rigid than stock, ideal for high-RPM or high-power setups.
2. Better Stability: Reduces flex and maintains proper alignment for smoother valve operation.
3. Improved Precision: Tighter tolerances for better rocker geometry.
4. Better Heat Dissipation: Helps keep the valvetrain cooler under stress.

For most builds, stock works fine, but a billet stand is a solid upgrade for high-performance engines.

This is just a small sample of our offerings for the LS community! We’re always developing new parts and tools for LS engines, and right now we’ve got over 1,200 items in our private brand lineup. We’re planning to keep growing that number in the coming months and years. If there’s something you need that we don’t have yet, let us know! We’re always open to suggestions from the community!

@1redta,

Thanks for the suggestion. That was an interesting time for rocker arm technology. While promising, they struggled with reliability under stress and were costly to make, so most manufacturers went with simpler fixed-ratio rockers and optimized cams instead. It’s a cool idea that could make a comeback with future tech improvements!

Good to see some one making the billet rocker stands again.

Lingenfelter used to offer a billet steel option but then they stopped producing them.

The Die Cast factory ones are not flat on the mounting bases. Because they are not machined, Some also seem to **** the rocker to 1 side.
