need some help

Default need some help

could i get some opinions on how to dual out my exhaust
and dump it on my 05 silverado ext. 5.3..its stock right now,
and way to quite!

Just buy two mufflers of your choice and take them to a local exhaust shop and tell them you want true dual exhaust. I would have them do turn downs right after the mufflers. A good choice in mufflers would probably be some bullets because of their size (will also be loud). If that's not loud enough for you have them remove the cats and weld in a pipe (you'll need a new tune or some 02 sims to do this).

You could cut the y-pipe right before it merges to one pipe and run pipes off of each opening down the passenger side and mount the mufflers side by side with dumps out of each.

That is how mine was before the STS. I used Thrushers, not the greatest but at the time I only wanted sound. AND THEY SOUNDED GOOD.
