Default Need instructions about cam install

Can anyone provide a step by step set of instructions for installing an aftermarket cam in my 05 5.3 A4 Chevy pickup? I just bought a cam and spring setup and need to know the instructions for putting it in. Also......If there are any common mistakes made or things to watch out for please post those too. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Tiburon is right. That one is very complete. The write up and pics are from a cam swap on an F-body, but once you get the radiator out, it should be all the same. I'm not sure if they have a separate description anywhere for the truck specific stuff, but that stuff should not give you too much trouble.

Thanks alot guys. That will help sooo much. And by the way, if you know any potential trouble spots I may hit please let me know. Also, if anyone does run across a truck specific cam swap, lemme know.

Just a little tip. Don't buy the JPR tool to hold your lifters up. Get some 5/16's wood rods from Home Depot and cut them in half and used those. They work like a charm.
