Default Need Help Fast PLease

I'm installing Tranny Cooler (Hayden Rapid Cool 679) with the fitting kit 390. How in the hell does the female hosebarb thread onto the transmission line fitting???

I'm looking at mine now and do not see how it is possible for the female connection to fit to the tranny line fitting.

I looked at the pics on the instructions and it looks like I got part number 391 in a 390 box. I checked the box and it said 390. I had Oreilleys order 2 more 390s to see if they got mixed up. But it was the same in both boxes.

Is there something I am missing or what? I need help ASAP since the oil line is already out and I can't use my truck til I get it put in. If you have pictures it would be greatly appreciated.

Did your truck allready have a factory cooler?Reason i ask is...mine did.So when i upgraded it to the b&m supercooler i just used the factory metal trans. line that were allready run and connected them to the new cooler with the supplied hose and clamps. If you didn't have a factory cooler...i still have all the fittings that came with the b&m cooler.I could send them to you if you need them.

Well thanks guys, I had to get the truck back together this morning so I went ahead and just put a piece of hose onto the line from the tranny and just threw the female cooler fitting in the trash. I see what they meant now about threading it onto the fitting already there. I was under thr truck and took the fitting out of the tranny b/c I thought the one supplied for the cooler fit inside the tranny. That would explain why the hose supplied would not even reach the tranny. I'm a dumbass lol

I drove around 2nite for about an hour or more and the tranny didnt blow up so I guess everything worked out.

Thanks Kenny and ranwalk (I need to get your real name..) for the help. We need to setup a date and head out to No Problems soon.
