Default need a 6.0 swap PRO or someone with alot of knowledge! please!

ALright so im confused as ***** now. I have an 02 DENALI 6.0 lq4 the throttle body is electric(by Wire) my 4.3 in my 03 silverado is cable driven.
So i cant use the tac module FROM the Denali and put it in my silverado? i can take out the whole harness pedal and sensor. A guy on here told me i needed the tac module from an 03/04 why? if i have the denali one?
One last question i only need the engine harness right? including the little black box from the fuse box right? cause i have that all set all i need to do now is pull out the engine and tranny oh and convert the tranny to 2wd(remove transfercase)

Excuse my noobness this is my first swap
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Just swap the LQ4 to DBC and be done. Just add the wires for the IAC etc and delete the one you don't need. Or just get a DBC harness and TB.

The 2001-2002 DBW takes its own TAC box and is different from the 2003+ ones. 03-05 TAC modules have an aluminum mounting base, 01-02 TAC modules are all black plastic including the mounting base.

So would it be easier to just get the 03/04 tac module and harness and hook it up? i rather do that than mess with any wires :/
I rather keep it DBW honestly cause a cable driven TB is hard to find around here i already tried looking around then having to get the harness would be harder

Should i just buy the 03/04 tac module? only 180 comes with pedal and what not

Thanks again man!

I too believe that the easiest thing to do in your case would be to stick with a cable operated throttle-body. Of course you would have to slightly modify your harness as was previously mentioned. You could swap over to ETC easily enough by picking up a new harness(s), proper TAC module and peddle assembly, however you will also need to pick up a new throttle-body, as the earlier ‘01/’02 unit is not compatible with the newer TAC module. The early style ETC throttle bodies were only used for a couple of years and is built similar to the Corvette and CTS-V units, except in that the electric motor is on the opposite side of the throttle-body. One major difference, besides appearance is the older ETC throttle-bodies actually still used a separate throttle-position sensor like a cable operated unit would have had, unlike the newer ETC throttle-bodies that had the TPS built into the unit.

Please start 1 thread for your swap questions, not 4 as it tends to clutter up the forum.

Thanks!
