Magnaflow off road pro series???
#1
Does anyone on here run Magnaflow Pro series exhaust which is stated as "OFF ROAD" use only under there race series mufflers??? It's very nicely priced and looks like a great setup. I'm curious of how it sounds. anyone??
I will be putting on American Racing Long tubes 1 7/8 into there 3 inch Y pipe and using the Magnaflow off road cat back.
Only reason i can think of is its an off road only system because the exhaust exits under the truck and doesn't clear it. Since nobody rides in the bed with a cover on i say who cares.
Also can anyone tell me if the stock manifolds have EGR tubes on the Vortec Max 6.2 liter 2011??????/

I looked at this setup but decided to go full 3.5" instead. I'll be doing the same thing basically, 14" muffler dumped before the axle, just putting it together with different parts.
Interested in hearing it if you get it on before me.

it looks as though its geared to literal off road by looking at the background picture. of course a lot of people run dumped like that on the street i dont think its emissions legal, at least in jersey it isnt.
you dont have anything going into your manifolds

I talked to Nicky at American Racing headers (the owner) They are local to me and do all my work. Nicky told me that 1 7/8's headers are overkill but i told him i was probably going Maggy down the road. On 2nd note i told him i wanted to do true duals with 3 inch off the Y pipe and he also said thats overkill. He said the single exhaust into the one muffler like magnaflow setup is perfect. Overflowing costs velocity and torque. If anyone would know its these guys.
