Knock sensors on a gen III are on the manifold valley while they are on the side of the block on a gen IV.

there will also be a IV next to the engine size stamped on the block. if none of that jumps out at you, you can flip the engine, pull the oil pan and check out the reluctor

some came with a single bolt cam (possibly all????)

All besides the LS9 I'm pretty sure.

If the OP is referring to the truck in his sig, the factory engine will be a gen III.

Nothing wrong with a gen III. You've got the good rods in your gen III too. Just not as good of a top end IMO. That can be addressed easily though Whats your plans with the truck?

I am ordering a trick turbo man, and I already have a TBSS intake and throttle body to trow on top..
BUT I just found a 6.0 short block for $250 last night.. So I dont know if I should get it and swap some of my current parts in my sig and put the turbo on it..
