I want to put a lt1 in the place of a 5.0 vortec in a 97' chevy silverado. The lt1 has been converted into a lt4 and i get the computer with it. The engine is said to have at least 425 hp. Any helpful information before i go ahead with this project would be appreciated!

 

should be a fairly straight forward swap. You will need the harness with the computer, the vortec harness wont work. I am pretty sure that there is a little more to it, maybe someone else will chime in.
