Done. New cam shipped for $288. You will lose a little bit on the bottom. However, the power will hit hard around 2500rpm and pull hard all the way to 5500rpm. You won't even notice the cam at all with a trailblazer stall. You will gain 60+rwhp and sacrifice basically nothing.
This is the cam I will be putting in my 5.3 if I ever get a converter and main cap bolt to finish it. It is hard to find stuff on the tfs stage 1 cam I bought mine new off a guy for 220.

What kind of idle does it have. Is it still pretty mellow or can you really tell its in there?

Could a set of Z06 yellow springs be safely used with this cam? Looking for a mild cam to stuff in my LQ4 before the swap. Also, with that narrow of a split... how well will it do with factory exhaust manifolds?

I was considering an 02'-04' Z06 cam, but keep hearing that it will make my LQ4 a slug below 3000 RPM.

this. You're learning quick.

The LS6 springs will cut it, but the others are safer.

Glad you're loving the cam too. I love the really subtle chop at idle. Very clean and powerful. Hard to ignore by your friends I'm sure. Add a mild converter and it'll rip from start to finish.
