Default LS1 swap.. Help me out guys

Alright, I've got an 04 Regency, and I'm getting rid of the tired old 4.8, and dropping an LS1 in there. I have some questions.
Will it be a direct plug and play type of thing?
Would it be easier to use my truck intake?
Motor mounts line up?
Will it bolt up to my stock 5spd trans until I can get the T56?

Only doing this because I can get one with low miles for $700 so hey, why not.

It'll be a direct swap. Very straightforward and simple. Definitely easier to use your truck intake and the trans will be fine. I just finished my LS1 swap 2 days ago.

Okay awesome. I will be picking up the motor this Friday hopefully. Thanks.
Any helpful hints that will make it easier?

Use the truck intake and accessories. You will also need to get a tune to compensate for the larger displacement.
