The power is night and day, and its every where in the RPM band and pulls hard up top. It runs kind of rough and stalls every now and then which can be expected with a mail order tune with a cam. Im gonna take it in tomorrow to the dealership and have the crank relearn done because I have an SES light. My Pacesetter long tube headers arrived today, still waiting on the ORY pipe so when that gets here and installed, I will more than likely take it in for a dyno tune or purchase HP Tuners, just not sure yet.

Mods on my truck so far are
LQ9
Thunder Racing Pushrods
Comp cam 220/226 556/570 114+4
comp 918 springs
42 lbs injectors
wait4metune
Looks like you need a name change.

Well the lq9 was bare as can be, it even needed the rockerarms and pushrods transfered over and had no covers or oil pan. The total came out to 900, that included 300 dollars worth of parts, all new gaskets, new plugs, wires, timing chain yada yada yada.

thatrs not bad at all considering what you needed. I was thinking about this swap, prolly something I could do, but it would be a hassle. I was thinking labor was gonna be up the ***, but thats not too bad.
