Default LQ4 + 706 heads

Little build put together for a 4x4. Focusing on good low end/mid range grunt, with a little extended rpm fun. Budget friendly oriented.

- Stock LQ4 bottom end
- 706 heads: Milled down 3cc to a 58.5cc combustion chamber
- Tbss intake: Mouth opened up just about to 102mm, ported the inlet as far as possible w/out having to hack it open. Also ported the runners as far down as possible. The transition from the mouth to the inlet is very nice. Pics below
- Camshaft (222/232) .595”/.587” 108LSA +3
- 1 7/8” long tubes
- 3” off-road Y, into single 4”
- Circle D 3600
- 4.56 gears
- PerformaBuilt LVL III 65e Trans
- 35-12.5-r17 tires
- E85 & 93oct, will be tuned on both, but will always run on E, as ethanol is of quality and readily available down here in Houston, TX

Any guesses on what it’ll produce at the wheel?

Fuel pump maxed out @5100rpm on E85, making 375whp/375ft-lbs. Going to run a 93oct tune for now until I get another pump in. Waiting on 93oct numbers

Will post dyno sheets later on.

Quite impressed with numbers through the 4x4 drivetrain and big 35” tires. Tuned by Bryan @PowerFab in Houston, TX.

That's encouraging for me with my 370/706 heads and 80e.

I've been considering a similar build for my tow pig

but the more I add up the cost of everything, I may just sell my truck and go diesel shopping.
