Default Larger fuel lines - what fuel filter?

I'm looking through the thousands of fuel filters that Summit has available. What are you guys running for your FI setups? How low of a micron rating are you going for? I see filters from 100 microns all the way to 5 microns. How low can you go before it starts to become a restriction?

Ok I'm looking at this one. If I get it with the 10 micron cellulose element, you guys think that would be ok?

Mount one of these Summit inline billet fuel filters and forget about dirt and grunge getting into your high performance fuel system. These filters flow 150 gph and can handle up to 1,000 hp. The lightweight 6061 aluminum filters feature a blue anodized finish, and are available with a 10 micron cellulose element or a 100 micron stainless pleated element.

I'm also looking at this one...Magnafuel MP-7010

25 micron filter, 1000hp capable. -8 in and out

Seems to me like the Summit filter will flow more. It's a 1.75 OD x 6.25 length, where the Magnafuel one is 1.5 OD x 4.5 length, although it might be a wash since the Summit filter is a 10 micron vs the Magnafuel 25 micron.

When I was looking into the Aeromotive A1000 system, they recommend a 100 micron before the pump and a 10 micron between the pump and rails.

Well a prefilter is tough since my pumps are in-tank. I'll have to rely on the pump socks for that. I went ahead and ordered that 10 micron Summit filter today, along with $300 worth of other lines and fittings
