Sorry didnt mention it...3.73 with 29.5" tire.

TIM Z Thanks and yes it IS bad a$$. I think it is perfect for the 4.8L

I forgot to plug one of my coil packs in one time. It scared the heck outta me. I just knew my engine was toast. Stupid mistake.

LOl yeah I am surprised it even started/ran on four cylinders.

Congrats man, good choice on the cam...you sound like you already love it! I wouldn't hesitate on the circle-d 278mm. It's a decently tight converter, for example with my truck on normal take off it only revs to about 2000, which isn't much more than stock. When you get it tuned, have them set TCC lock-up around 40-50 so that when your just cruising it'll help keep your rpm down for gas mileage.

It runs great for a stock tune. I am not too smart when it comes to the HP Tuner. I see too much conflicting information with several tuner guides, so I emailed BlackBear and Wheatley to see about a mail order tune.

Is there are lag in repsonse to WOT with the stock converter? Im thinking of using this cam in an LQ4 but dont want it to be a dog below 3000 rpm
