Default junkyard or ebay

Which would be more risky to buy a junkyard 6.0 or one off ebay I really don't have the tools to rebuild one if I buy it from a junkyard but I also kinda worried about getting screwed over if I buy one online where do much of you guys get your engine at

I've done both. It is a little easier if you can find one locally so you can talk to them about what it came out of and all the details. I didn't have problems with either way though

Yeah, there are a bunch of yards around OKC. Just make sure they checked compression. Some of them start and run the engines on a stand. I wouldn't do Ebay because you have to pay shipping costs. If it's bad you'd have to go through the trouble of shipping it back and then what?

I have been searching car-part.com and found some I guess I might just go that route what would be the mileage that you guys would risk buying a junkyard 6.0l
