Some electric fans would give you a ton more space, if you're going to try and keep the stock shroud on. If you're pulling the shroud off, you're going to lose some cooling efficiency in the summer. Just something to think about.

i think it is great you are tackleing this project, looks good so far and i hope you get all the bugs worked out. there is going to be a prety big volume of air after the throttle body that might make tuning kind of tricky but maybe not. keep up the pic's and updates

Nice description ....

Here's another one ... look on a map, at Lake O' the Pines, on the northern tip of it, follow the stream to a lake just north, that's lone star lake. If I'm not mistaken, the lake is on the edge of town or something.

In relation to the arm pit of East TX (Marshall) .... he would be about the shoulder.

Thats pretty cool that a dodge intercooler fits.
Good luck on your project. It's great to see guys take off where companies left off.

I know you spent a lot of r&d on it, but if you can replace that air distribution box with just two normal tubes it will flow much better and keep the intercooled air cool.

Bigguy, not to get off the subject, but I was born in Pittsburg, Tx. I say that just because those towns are so small that when someone asks where I was born they have no idea what im talking about.

On the subject, why did you chose the Dodge intercooler over the Duramax? Just curious if they are somehow better, because after i get back from Sicily I want to finnish my turbo install.
